2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered through its network. When you visit the site, technical data sent by your browser is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer), and browser type and operating system.

This data is needed to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). 3. Encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

4. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on the server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is made when the page loads.

5. Contact by email

If you email me, I process the information it contains (e.g. name, email address, content of your enquiry) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a commission, and otherwise my legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Embedded videos (YouTube)

For my showreel and my motion playlists I embed videos and playlists from YouTube. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. I use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Videos are only loaded once you actively click on them. Before that, no data is transferred to YouTube.

After your click, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. Among other things, your IP address and information about your device are transmitted, and YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Links to social networks

This website contains simple links to my profiles on YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. These are not embedded plugins: as long as you do not click a link, no data is transferred to the respective platform. After clicking, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies:

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Simply contact me by email.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state or German federal state where you live.
